Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana exists so families can get better together. Through its six area Ronald McDonald Houses and four Ronald McDonald Family Rooms, families can stay close to their hospitalized child and access the care and resources they need. Factor meals are distributed weekly across these locations, providing nourishing and convenient options, alleviating the burden of cooking and dining out. This allows families to focus solely on their child's critical medical care.
American Cancer Society

American Cancer Society

The partnership between the American Cancer Society and Factor began out of a need for health systems to help cancer patients access food during the Covid-19 pandemic. It illuminated the far deeper issue of food insecurity. Patient testimonials reveal that this partnership has helped in many ways including accessing nutritious meals, maintaining weight, and alleviating the burdens of preparing meals for themselves and their family during treatment. Each week, Factor delivers meals to 30 American Cancer Society partner hospitals in Illinois.

Food Banks and Pantries

Factor regularly donates meals to nearby community food banks and pantries near our production sites. Currently, Factor supports Northern Illinois Food Bank, St. Mary’s Food Bank, Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry, Kendall County Community Food Pantry, Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry, Loaves & Fishes Community Services and Agua Fria Food and Clothing Bank with weekly donations.

We are committed to seafood procurement in line with Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch rankings of Certified, Best Choice, or Good Alternative. Our Barramundi is Fair Trade Certified™.
Meal Donations
We donate plated meals and cooked surplus to minimize food waste and make our product available to those who are food insecure. In 2023, we donated more than 11.5 MM lbs of fresh surplus food to our food rescue partners.
