BBQ Tempeh & Lentil Bowl
with Corn-Chickpea Saute & Maple BBQ Sauce

Tempeh, or lightly-fermented soybeans, brings a super satisfying texture and mild flavor to anything it touches. In this dish, it's tossed with housemade Cajun-spiced olive oil before being roasted until golden brown and crisp. Served over French lentils and pearl onions tossed in a touch of barbecue sauce, this meal could be complete on its own. To up the ante, however, there's a side of corn and green chickpea salad.
Ingredients: organic tempeh (cultured organic soy beans, water), water, pearl onions, crushed tomatoes (fresh tomatoes, salt, citric acid), garbanzo beans (prepared garbanzo beans, water, salt, disodium edta to promote color retention), yellow sweet corn, garlic, lentils, onions, olive oil, honey, maple syrup, molasses, apple cider vinegar, sea salt, black garlic, chili powder, toasted garlic powder, dried chives, granulated garlic, granulated onion, smoked paprika, reduced sodium tamari (water, soybeans, salt, alcohol (to preserve freshness)), liquid smoke (water, hickory smoke concentrate), smoked black pepper, ancho chile powder, cumin, gochugaru chile flakes, black pepper
