To start, ground turkey is cooked with an Italian herb blend, then combined with a creamy tomato ragu. The sauce is made with onions, celery and garlic cooked with tomato paste, red wine, crushed tomatoes and basil. As a finishing touch, heavy cream is added to put a keto-friendly twist on the classic tomato sauce. A scoop of herbed ricotta cheese and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese top the dish.
